Don’t drink too much water on your game drive. If you really need to go and you hear nature calling, then your ranger or guide will stop \u00a0for you to get out. 5. Your guide will be entertaining<\/h2>\n

African guides are a great source of information about the animals that you come across, as well as interesting stories. They normally have a lot of stories about their encounters and the experiences in the bush. A good question to ask \u00a0your guide is, “what was the most interesting experience or most dangerous experience you’ve had in the bush before?” They may not even stop \u00a0talking about it after you’ve asked them.<\/p>\n

6. You won’t be able to see the Big 5 on every game drive<\/h2>\n

Some days you\u2019re lucky and see all the big five, sometimes it\u2019s just one or two. It all depends on luck in the wild, and often luck is what it comes to with these animals. There\u2019s no such thing as a guaranteed safari, but there are several ways to improve your chances of seeing elephants, rhinos and cheetahs. A number of factors affect creatures\u2019 visibility rates, including weather and the time of year.<\/p>\n
